The original was painted on canvas in acrylic and then bead embroidered on top, with applique and stitching. The print still allows the beads to look quite 3D. The original painting took many hours to create, with tiny seed beads and embroidery thread. It features 2 Guernsey Ormers with some seaweed.
Guernsey Ormers are a type of shellfish found in the Channel Islands - it is similar to an Abolone (sea snail).
The print is the perfect present for someone that comes from Guernsey, a foodie, or simply someone that loves the beach and wants to add to their nautical/coastal decor.
